Community Partner Project with Alda Witherspoon – The Witherspoon Institute
“As part of our work with the Witherspoon Institute’s Get Lit Program, we collaborated on a project that utilized the power of artificial intelligence to create a comprehensive digital toolkit designed to elevate the national visibility of one of our partner’s non-profit organizations. Our goal was to help amplify her mission and connect her work with broader audiences that share a passion for literacy, community empowerment, and creative expression. Drawing on the latest advancements in AI and digital strategy, our team curated a multi-faceted campaign plan tailored specifically to the nonprofit’s values and target demographic. We crafted a series of dynamic social media strategies that could be implemented across platforms like Instagram, X, and TikTok to maximize engagement and foster a consistent brand presence. We also pitched creative ideas for a refreshed brand identity and website redesign—focusing on elements that highlight the heart of the organization’s work while appealing to a modern digital audience. In addition, we researched and compiled a list of niche influencers who specialize in areas like book literacy, cooking education, and theatre arts—areas closely aligned with the program’s mission. This influencer list is designed to help expand the nonprofit’s reach through authentic partnerships. To support these collaborations, we also created AI-generated outreach prompts that our partner can customize and use when reaching out to potential collaborators, sponsors, or donors. This experience not only strengthened my skills in digital strategy and creative problem-solving but also deepened my understanding of how technology and storytelling can be harnessed to uplift grassroots efforts and bring underrepresented voices to the forefront of national conversations.”
