The HuskyAI Coaching Platform for Workforce Readiness

This AIMES Lab working paper presents the research behind HuskyAI, an AI coaching platform designed to measure and strengthen learners' reasoning during human-AI interactions. The paper introduces the Prompt Effectiveness Index (PEI), a novel framework for assessing the quality of learner reasoning, critical thinking, and AI literacy.

The research was led by AIMES Lab Director Prof. John P. Wihbey, in collaboration with Research Assistants Yash Phalle, Shashank Kadiyala, and Caleb Okereke. It details the theoretical foundations, system architecture, and evaluation framework behind HuskyAI, contributing to ongoing research in AI literacy, human agency, and AI-assisted learning.
